FlexGuard Disclaimer: Every Limit In One Place

FlexGuard is a dietary supplement, not a drug, and is not FDA-approved.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and this product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. It contains shellfish. Review figures here are the distributor's own summaries, and the amounts on the carton are far below the trial amounts for six of eight rows.

Everything this site qualifies, collected on one page so it can be read in one go rather than met a sentence at a time.

Regulatory

The FlexGuard FDA statement

Required, and meant literally

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. FlexGuard is a dietary supplement, not a drug, and it is not FDA-approved, because no dietary supplement is. The FDA's own questions and answers explains what that means and what a registration badge on a carton is a statement about.

Claims

What FlexGuard claims, and the ceiling on it

  • Claimed. Support for joint comfort and mobility.
  • Claimed. Help coping with everyday joint stress.
  • Not claimed. Treatment, prevention or management of arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout or any other named condition.
  • Not claimed. Rebuilding cartilage.
  • Not claimed. Pain relief in the sense an analgesic means it.
  • Not claimed. Any outcome within a week.

Those two claims are the ceiling on everything on this website, and the FTC's guidance on health product claims is the standard being applied to them.

Safety

FlexGuard safety, and who should not take it

Twelve statements, several of them quoted from the carton in the carton's own words.

  • A dietary supplement, not a drug. One capsule, once a day. Not a gummy, not a powder and not liquid drops.
  • Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and not FDA-approved.
  • The carton reads CONTAINS: SHELLFISH (CRAYFISH). Anyone with a shellfish allergy should treat that line as the deciding fact rather than a footnote.
  • For adults aged 18 and over. Not for use during pregnancy or nursing.
  • The capsule shell is hypromellose and the filler is rice flour, so the capsule itself suits a vegetarian diet even though its glucosamine does not suit a shellfish-free one.
  • Joint pain has many causes. Swelling, heat, a joint that locks or gives way, a recent injury or pain that wakes you at night are reasons to be assessed rather than reasons to start a capsule.
  • Do not take more than the label states unless a clinician tells you to.
  • Individual results vary. Body weight, sleep, how much you walk and how you load the joint all act on the same comfort this formula is sold for.
  • Review scores and order counts on this website are the distributor’s own summary figures, not verified transcripts and not evidence.
  • Lot FLE-26/GO-6202 and certificate reference FLE-6202-26-GO are filing references, not laboratory proof.
  • The website email cannot see orders. For a refund, call the order desk.
  • The money-back guarantee is a purchase policy, not a medical promise, and its sixty days run from the date of purchase. The seller’s own page states the shipping date instead; both documents are quoted on the guarantee page.
Evidence

What the FlexGuard amounts on this site mean

Every ingredient amount printed here is transcribed from the carton. Every trial amount printed beside it is read from the published record for that study. Setting the two side by side is a comparison of numbers, not a claim that the capsule produces the trial's result.

Six of the eight rows on this panel sit below the amount their own research used, four of them by an order of magnitude or more. That is stated on the ingredients page with the figures, and nothing anywhere on this site implies otherwise.

Where a figure has not been published, this site says so rather than estimating it. There is no transit window, no struck comparison price and no standardisation percentage anywhere here, because none of the three has been published for this product.

Results

FlexGuard reviews, results and testimonials

The score of 4.8, the 671 written reviews, the 6,430 orders and the 86% recommending are the distributor's own summary figures for its own order book. They are not verified transcripts, they have not been audited by this desk, and they are not evidence about a formula.

The eight named buyers carry two distinct texts between them, which is why the reviews page renders them as a roster rather than as eight testimonials, and why no per-person review markup is published anywhere on this site.

Individual results vary. Body weight, sleep, activity and how a joint is loaded all act on the same comfort this product is sold for, and none of them is controlled for in a buyer's report.

Lot and certificate references

Lot FLE-26/GO-6202 and certificate reference FLE-6202-26-GO are filing references. They identify a production run and a document. Neither is a laboratory result, and the verification page sets out what each one can and cannot tell you.

Citations

External sources cited on this FlexGuard site

Every external link here points at a public source: a published study, a government health page or a regulator's guidance. Each carries attributes telling a search engine not to follow it and telling your browser to open it separately.

None of the organisations cited has any connection to this product, to this desk or to the distributor, and none of them has reviewed or endorsed anything on this website. A citation is a pointer to what somebody else measured.

Three citations were dropped from this site's reference list after a retraction sweep by author rather than by paper, and the about page names them and says why.

FlexGuard is a food supplement, and this page says what that means
